Due to the drought of the last two summers, we have had to raise the price of our ground beef to $7.50/lb. packaged weight. This is still incredibly priced if you compare it to Walmart, Costco, or Whole Foods for grass-fed and finished meat.
Our ground beef is Cutter grade from healthy cows at a prime weight of 1100-1200 lbs., who are on average 7 years old. They are grass-fed and grass-finished Red Angus. Unlike grain-fed cows, these grass-fed and finished animals stay lean and tender. Since there is a potential that we will sell these later as smaller bundles, this ground beef has been state inspected.
